I am a painter and an art educator in Charlotte, NC. I use fine art techniques and work primarily in oil paints. My work is for the entry level collector or individual looking to expand their personal collection, and I have paintings featured in homes across the United States and Europe.
As a female entrepreneur, animal lover, and mom-boss, I take pride in producing meaningful paintings that capture a moment in time. My subject matter varies: A moment with a child, a pet being themselves, a colorful local scene, or fruit and vegetables spilling from the grocery bag.
My paintings are available for sale and I also accept commissions, as my subject matter is often something dear to the heart. As commissioned subject matter is often something dear to the heart and therefore special to the collector, my commission pieces are one-of-a-kind. While commissioned images may be used for advertising they are never reproduced.
For my personal studio, I am a resident artist at the Dilworth Artisan Station in Charlotte, NC. Twice a year my studio is open to the public, but I am happy to accept visitors at any time with an appointment.
In addition to painting, I am also Co-Owner at Holt School of Fine Art in Charlotte, NC where I teach art lessons to adults, teens, and children.
